In my opinion, TV trumps motion picture. As a woman who loves to lay in the house and watch a motion picture, I feel that the family might be a little misguided in the power of box office versus TV. Lifetime will play the movie over and over. TV is the way to get your story told.
Williams interviews Trina and Towanda Braxton and questions them on the latest season of The Braxton Family Values.

Williams disses Rihanna during an episode of Hot Topics, saying that Rihanna is not the girl you take home to mom.
I don’t think anyone but Chris Brown has been serious about Rihanna cause Rihanna, don’t take this the wrong way because this is an observational observation…Rihanna is like, you hit the skins and scram. I didn’t make that up. She puts it out there. Like Rihanna is not girlfriend material. Am I wrong? Rihanna is the kind of girl she’s hot, she’s sexy. You do her, then you take your penicillin.
Williams performs her debut stand up comedy session Lipshtick, in Las Vegas at the Venetian. During her show she confronts rumors that she used to be a man.

Yes, I’ve been single for a couple of months. I don’t look at the outside so much I’m not an outside-cover person, I am more of, like, an essence person. I learned a lot about how our system works and doesn’t work. I came in sixth out of 54. I was only on three ballots too, only three states put me on. The reason I ran is to bring some light to the fact that its very hard to get on the ballot in this free country. If we can’t get the kind of people we want to represent us, you know, we got to change that.
Williams interviews Laverne Cox and questions her about being a transgender woman and her new show Orange Is The New Black.

He had just walked out of the back where they keep the shoes and I walked in and he walked in and it was like yeah. I kept buying shoes and I would come back and say do you have these? Slowly but surely I had just decided everyone would get shoes for Christmas this year.

Well I think that she [Rihanna] looks amazing. You know, this is in honor of Josephine Baker. This is very reminiscent of what she would have worn although far more risky. Today is her birthday, she would have been 104. So to me, Josephine Baker did so much for black women in entertainment so if her [Rihanna] wearing this gets us to talk a little bit about Josephine today, more power to her.

Williams interviews Katie Couric and asks her questions about her documentary, Fed Up, her wedding, and being part of the Barbara Walters retirement special on The View.
We’re getting married on June 21, the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. And you know it’s going to be a very small wedding out in East Hampton in the backyard with friends and family. I still don’t know what I will be wearing. I need to get on that, right. I have been doing stand up for 30 years. Stand up is sporadic, you go out and talk about this, maybe you want to talk about the Kardashian’s, then you want to hit president Obama. You want to go around. [A one woman show] this is like a story. You have a story in addition to making everybody laugh.
Williams interviews Hicks and questions him on his latest show I Wanna Marry Harry.

Williams interviews Parton about her album Blue Smoke, her husband, and her god-daughter, Miley Cyrus,
I have known Miley since she was a baby. I’m really more the fairy godmother. I never really got to spend all the time with her that you usually would. I used to be on her Hanna Montana show — I was aunt Dolly on the show. Miley is going through a lot of changes and we just have to trust her because she is so talented. She is so smart. She just had to be totally drastic because we wouldn’t let her grow up like Shirley Temple we never wanted her to grow up either. But Miley said I had to kill Hanna Montana in order to be Miley.
Williams interviews Terry O’Quinn. Williams questions O’Quinn on his latest show Gang Related and why he follows Marilyn Manson on Twitter:

I graduated college and studied theater did all that stuff. I was happy to wait for a good part well into my 30’s and 40’s. Like that’s okay man I can wait that’s the name of the game. But I get to play this really cool guy on Glee who is kinda in this political social attached to it that I happen to be personally invested in anyway. It’s like putting on a super hero costume everyday.
Williams interviews Ana Ortiz and questions her on family and her Lifetime show Devious Maids:

Williams interviews Jerry Springer and asks questions about his new TV series, Tabloid on the ID network.
What I didn’t realize is and what they told me is that you are the audience. Women are the people who watch the ID channel. I have a theory on that because it’s a crime show. It’s a weekly crime show on some of the horrible crimes that have happened over the last 30 years that have made the headlines. I believe that women are fascinated about that because when you are a woman in our society, the fear factor is always there to some degree.
Williams interviews Patricia Heaton and asks her questions about her family, guest hosting on The View, and her opinion on the show’s replacement panelists.
Well I don’t know how comfortable a guy would be listening to my friend Whoopi talk about her vibrator. I love Whoopi. It’s an interesting thing, I understand it from a “to keep the show fresh” point of view and change it up a little bit. So it could be interesting but then the other side is the whole point was to have gals being able to give the woman’s point of view.
Williams interviews John Leguizamo and asks questions about his latest film, Chief.
It’s ‘Chief’ right, so it’s about a chief. He has a lot of success in LA. He gets very famous but it goes to his head, he gets very narcissistic. So his life starts to fall apart. His wife leaves him and he gets a new girlfriend.
Williams interviews Jenna Elfman and asks questions about her show, Growing Up Fisher, her husband, and her hair.
Yeah, we are ‘un-precious’ about out marriage. We are just not serious about it. We do a podcast iTunes called Kicking And Screaming. It’s just us talking about our marriage for a half hour. We don’t edit, we don’t plan it. It’s R-rated, so don’t listen to it while you take your kids to school.

Williams interviews Mary Lynn Rajskub and asks questions about her TV show 24. When questioned about how the TV show 24 came back on the air after being off air for four years Rajskub says:
I love how you are suspicious about it. Like how the hell did that happen? I spent the first two years after we wrapped up season eight kinda thinking the movie might happen. A lot of people talked about there’s a movie script out there and then I kinda forgot about it case closed. I went on with my life doing stand up comedy. But I only went on the road for the past two years and then 24 comes back and its like back to the drama put the comedy away.
Williams interviews Tia Mowry and asks questions about her show, Instant Mom.
She is not just any mom, you know. She is still sexy, wearing Louboutin’s and chasing wonderful kids. I love working on this show. It’s so much fun. I produce the show as well.
Williams interviews Nicole Murphy and asks questions about her ex-husband Eddie Murphy, family, and career.
I live right next door to him [Eddie Murphy] I could throw a rock right at his window to get his attention like hey Eddie! We have a good relationship we have to we have five kids together.
