Will not recast Murphy’s role
Thrones directors announce they will not recast Murphy’s role of Ser Denys Mallister.
We will not be recasting J.J. Murphy. He was a lovely man, and the best Denys Mallister we could have hoped for. And now his watch is ended.

The Wines of Westeros
The Wines of Westeros, a line of red and white wines named for the show’s feuding clans, is released. The wines will be supplied by Australian winemakers and include Sauvignon Blancs, Pinot Noirs, Merlots, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignons and Shiraz wines. They are available for pre-order and will launch in time for the new season expected to air next year.
Whether this becomes a coveted item for the fans or a bottle that is opened with every episode, this wine is made to be drunk with friends and to help soften the blow of the shock and heartache as our favorite characters are slowly killed off.
‘Hodor’ app
Tyler Hedrick, an iOS developer at Medium, announces an app called Yo, Hodor. The app works similarly to the popular Yo app where users can create a username, locate friends using the app, and then send them a single word message; in this case, the word “Hodor.” The phrase (and the audio clip used in the app) is from a Game of Thrones character names Hodor who can only say the word “Hodor”.
I wrote an app called Hodor because Hodoring someone is so much cooler than Yoing someone. #yo #hodor #got pic.twitter.com/5VQ8F4Er33

Facebook cancellation hoax
A message being spread on Facebook that Season 5 has been cancelled is proven false. The link acts as a lure to a webpage which attempts to convince the user that their Java plug-in needs to be updated. The download is believed to be malicious.
