The Ugly Truth

Butler plays Mike Chadway in the romantic comedy, The Ugly Truth. Abby Richter produces a Sacramento morning show that is about to be cancelled. To get the ratings up, her boss hires chauvinist sex correspondent Chadway. Despite her hate for Chadway, ratings go up and Abby’s love life flourishes thanks to Mike’s advice. She realizes that there is more to Mike than his chauvinistic views. Co-starring Katherine Heigl.

There’s some universal truths in this if you take just the grains that are talked about, that’s why the movie is so funny. But then we go with that and see how far we can push it.
