Man of Steel

Cavill plays Clark Kent, aka Kal-El, aka Superman, in this adventure fantasy directed by Zack Snyder. After General Zod invades Earth with his followers, intent on transforming the planet into a new Krypton, Superman must save the day, even if it means revealing his true identity. Co-starring Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, and Russell Crowe.

In this film, the world is not just accepting the fact that this being exists, so, as an actor, the question of how that made him feel was very important. How the character felt about the world around him, knowing that he was different from a very young age, was interesting to me, because people aren’t necessarily very good to him in this film.
