Embry seeks approximately $94,000 a month in spousal support. Embry files a claim that her ex-wife’s “income, investments and assets increased dramatically with her new found acting success,” and that the multi-million dollar home she was previously awarded is not enough. Embry wants Lynch to support her new lifestyle, adding that during their marriage Lynch paid for everything.

Lynch officially divorces her wife of three years, Lara Embry. Lynch signs the documents at the Los Angeles County Court, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the primary reason for their divorce. Lynch:
Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter.

Lynch marries longtime partner Embry at the Blue Heron restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts, one of five states where marriage is legal for same sex couples. The couple celebrate with about 20 guests. Lynch:
