Brand, Perry marry
Brand weds Perry in an elaborate and private Hindu ceremony at a luxury resort in Northern India. The union is officiated by a Christian minister and friend of Perry’s family. The two celebrities date for four months before deciding to tie the knot. They throw a Bollywood-themed party for their guests on the night before the wedding. On their first meeting at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards where Perry threw a plastic water bottle at his head:
Got you on the head, huh? Kind of an easy target, it’s big and you’ve got that ridiculous hair.
You’ll think it frivolous of me to say I knew I’d marry her on that first date. The truth is I fell in love with her when she hit me with that bottle. She chose me, bottled me and cuffed me. And now this is my life, my girl, this beautiful woman.

0 CommentsPerry releases her third studio album Teenage Dream. Perry co-wrote every song on the 12 track record with collaborators Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Ester Dean. The record also features singles California Gurls featuring Snoop Dogg and Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) and is the second album in history to have five number one singles, Michael Jackson’s Bad being the first.
After I Kissed a Girl, I knew it would take time to not look like a one-trick pony. This album is a perfect snapshot of where I am mentally and emotionally.

Teenage Dream is a euphoric feeling. It gives off this feeling that a lot of people have been through. I remember my teenage years, and I remember falling in love for the first time and how impressionable that was. How sensitive I was to every feeling. Heartbreak was really hard. Of course heartbreak is really hard now, and love is still intense, but it’s a different type of feeling, that teenage love. I want people to have that feeling again of falling in love unabashedly – those teenage dreams.
