Jimmy Kimmel interview
Knightly talks about meeting Google founder Sergey Brin during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Knightley and Brin meet during a special screening of Knightley’s new movie The Imitation Game.
Sergey, who I assume is a very rich man, was wearing — was definitely wearing — Crocs.
The Times interview
Knightley says she has no problem posing topless as long as the pictures are not photoshopped in an interview with The Times of London. Knightley discusses a set of Patrick Demarchelier photos that she did for Interview magazine:
I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographers or for film posters. That (shoot) was one of the ones where I said: ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot so long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’ Because it does feel important to say it really doesn’t matter what shape you are.
Keira Knightley interview
Seacrest interviews Knightley during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks her if she will start a singing career now that she has played a singer in the film Begin Again with Adam Levine.
No, not really. Never done it before. I had done it a little bit in a film about eight years ago, and I forgot that I found that completely terrifying and I found this completely terrifying, as well.
Tavis Smiley interview
Knightley discusses current and upcoming projects, including Anna Karenina, in this interview for PBS. On being drawn to period pieces:
I think it’s the element of fantasy, actually. I find that really interesting. It’s a world that’s rules you don’t know, so the rules can be created, so the drama can always be created, and kind of almost freed within that. I quite like it as a kind of dramatic conceit. I find it an interesting way to draw myself in and to draw people in. I guess it’s something to do with that.
