The Rains of Castamere

Harington appears as Jon Snow in the ninth episode of the third season of Game of Thrones, The Rains of Castamere. Rose Leslie plays Ygritte, a young female warrior in the wildling army of Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall. Kristofer Hivju plays Tormund Giantsbane, a veteran warrior who is Mance’s deputy. South of the Wall of Westeros, Jon and the wildling group led by Tormund are traveling towards Castle Black. They attack a farmstead, and Tormund orders Jon to kill the stablemaster. Jon is unable to kill the innocent man, and the wildlings realize that he remains loyal to the Night’s Watch. As Tormund restrains Ygrette, Jon is able to fight his way free and escape towards Castle Black.
