In King’s Landing, Robert and Cersei discuss the threat of Daenerys Targaryen, a descendant of King Aerys Targaryen who Robert deposed. Cersei advises acting against her. She asks Robert if their marriage ever stood a chance and he says that it never did, as he has remained loyal to Lyanna Stark, who died in the war that won him the throne.
