Williams appears as Arya Stark in the first episode of season one of Game of Thrones, Winter is Coming. The children of the Stark noble family are each gifted with a direwolf and Arya names hers Nymeria, after a warrior princess. Arya’s unruly behaviour during King Robert Baratheon’s arrival at the Stark stronghold annoys her older sister Sansa, played by Sophie Turner.
