Martin Henderson

Thrown by drunken Rugby fan

7 Oct, 2011

Henderson is picked up and dropped by an unknown, drunken assailant while celebrating his 37th birthday at the White Horse Pub in Somerset, England.

I went outside for a cigarette and the next thing I know I’m suddenly in the air and someone has got hold of me. I was then dropped on to my back on to the hard floor.

He was later rushed to the hospital for treatment when his back and legs began to feel numb, suffering from tissue damage to his back.  Henderson now has to utilize a zimmer frame to walk and must use a wheelchair for long journeys.

Henderson and others believe the incident is a copycat of England Rugby star, Mike Tindall’s behavior when he was accused of “dwarf-throwing” at a bar during the World Cup earlier this year.
