Seacrest interviews Lauer during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about how he deals with time zones during travel for his tv show Where In The World Is Matt Lauer.

Your first three days you can stay as much as possible on New York time. By the end of the week your just all over the place. You have no idea where you are. For example, in Kuala Lumpur we get done with the show, and my body is telling me its mid-morning so I should just relax for the rest of the day, but its already midnight in Kuala Lumpur. Its pitch black.  So your body reacts to that stimulus and wants to go to bed.
