Jihadi “John” is identified as Emwazi. Close friend:

I have no doubt that Mohammed is Jihadi John. He was like a brother to me. . . . I am sure it is him.

The Washington Post reports no comment from U.S. officials. Emwazi’s family decline a request for an interview, citing legal advice.
