McCartney marries Shevell during an afternoon ceremony in London. The couple are greeted with cheers as they arrive at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. Shevell wears a flower in her hair and long-sleeved, v-neck, knee-length ivory dress and shoes by her new stepdaughter, Stella McCartney, who also made her father’s navy blue suit.
Nancy Shevell is the second of three children born to billionaire Myron (Mike) and Arlene Shevell.
Nancy grows up in Edison, New Jersey, playing with toy trucks alongside her dolls, and visiting truck terminals managed by her father, who owns the haulage company New England Motor Freight. In high school her interests include skiing and flying, and she is a member of her school’s all girl football team.
