Richie doesn’t talk to Hilton anymore because Hilton wanted to replace her on their TV show The Simple Life. When asked by Katie Couric why they stopped talking, Richie says they grew apart and that she would not talk to her even if she saw her.

Our spat just turned into a much bigger thing than it is. It’s just not part of my life.
