Phil Pritchard interview
Seacrest interviews Pritchard during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his job as Keeper of the Stanley Cup.
Our duties are hanging out with the Cup and looking after it from a public relations end, a transportation end, a security end. I got married, I got 3 kids at home and we’re on the road a bunch so you miss them a ton, but getting to hang out with the Stanley Cup champions it’s pretty good for work. We only hang out with the winners, which is kind of neat.
Dustin Penner interview
Seacrest interviews Penner during On Air With Ryan Seacrest asks what he will do with the Stanley Cup.
I’ve got some ideas. I want to spend some more personal time with it. The last time I took it back to my hometown in Canada. I kind of neglected it from a personal standpoint; I let everybody else see it. I’d really like to just spend some alone time with it. You know, I want to sit back and maybe watch a movie with it, make it feel special and not like you’re just prostituting it out to everyone else. I ended up running myself so ragged last time, I had to have my mom hook me up to an IV, she happens to be a nurse so…and so I had an IV in my arm for two and a half hours.
Gretchen Rossi interview
Seacrest interviews Rossi during On Air With Ryan Seacrest asks if she wants to marry him Slade Smiley.
Not now, but yes, one day. I love him, he’s the best guy ever. I’m very lucky. Actually, I’ve already picked out my ring.
Kristen Stewart interview
Seacrest interviews Stewart during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her role in the film Snow White and the Huntsman.
I didn’t have too much training, other than the horse stuff. I kind of got ready to put myself through hell and it was all sort of just wrapping your head around really throwing yourself into something.
Demi Lovato interview
Seacrest interviews Lovato during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her Latin American tour.
Fans were singing along so loud I couldn’t even hear myself sing. It’s that kind of connection that keeps me going in this industry and what inspires me to get on stage every night.
Emily Maynard interview
Seacrest interviews Maynard during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks her if she will ever be on The Bachelorette again.
I always say never say never about these types of things. For the most part I feel pretty confident saying that I wouldn’t do it, but again, I don’t know that I’m willing to open that up again for the world.
Kimbra interview
Seacrest interviews Kimbra during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about being featured on the single Somebody that I Used to Know.
It’s been an amazing experience to be a part of and it’s provided me with a great introduction for me to now share my record with the world.
Mandy Moore interview
Seacrest interviews Moore during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks what she did with her TRON: Uprising action figures.

Phillip Phillips interview
Seacrest interviews Phillips during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about winning the 11th season of American Idol.
I couldn’t really talk! I think I was still crying. They were just saying ‘We love you, and we’re so proud of you.’ They said ‘We knew it would happen,’ but I didn’t. I never saw any of this ever happening. It’s just so surreal to me.
Jennifer Lopez interview
Seacrest interviews Lopez during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about Phillip Philips winning season 11 of American Idol.
As much as I love Jessica, and knew her voice is so outstanding I kind of felt like Phillip was going to win. I just felt like he connected with the audience in a way, like when he would come out, and the way they would scream, certain things, you just feel like that’s your ‘Idol.
Jessica Sanchez interview
Seacrest interviews Sanchez during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and about growing up in the entertainment industry.
Literally, I do school here. I could be going to prom right now, but instead ya know I missed it. I got asked, but I was like I’m kind of busy.’ But has the busy 16 year-old made time to take her drivers test? I have to get it! I will make time. I’ll be writing a song while I learn how to drive.
Randy Jackson interview
Seacrest interviews Jackson during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about American Idol’s season 11 winner.
I noticed during the middle of the season, no matter how harsh we judge Phillip, no matter what we say to him, no matter what Tommy Hilfiger would say to him, the drabbest color you can wear on stage is gray, he wore gray. The guy just was you couldn’t kill him, dude. He was that one, he was stealth, he stayed in there. We got it right. America always gets it right in the end. Listen all of those people will be fine. Jessica [Sanchez], Phillip, Joshua [Ledet], they’ll all have huge careers. I mean, they got giant careers ahead of them.
Steven Tyler, Joe Perry interview
Seacrest interviews Tyler and Perry during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about Phillip Phillips.
I’m so happy, because during this process I thought ‘Here’s a guy who didn’t care in the beginning,’ but it seemed like that to the America public. He was just really shy. But if you watch his behavior his soul was trying to climb out, and America got to see him do that. A lot of girls like boys that are vulnerable. They just fall in love with them, and the best news of all is the last song he played last night. Where did he get that from!? In that I hear a little Paul Simon, he’s just came out of the egg. He’s wet behind the ears, and yet he’s unfolded like that. I love when I see that. That America took a chance. It wasn’t the sure thing which we thought was Jessica. We all knew she was a sure thing, but they took a risk. Wow. That’s saying a lot.
Perry is asked if his band Aerosmith is making a comeback.
This is the first record in a long long time where I’ve actually found myself gravitating back towards listening to the roughs for the fun of it. That’s what is different about this record. For our fans you’ll be able to see a direct lineage to some of our old stuff. Like with this other song I wrote it for me to sing, and when we finally got it going my wife actually came up to me and said, ‘You really should let Steven have a shot at that, because he’ll do a better job.’ I have to stand back, as a co-producer of the record, and disassociate myself from the material. I thought, ‘She’s probably right’ and it wasn’t just her who said that. But you know when she said that I thought ‘You know, maybe I’ll sing the first verse or the second verse.’ Then he [Steven] laid one down and it was like ‘Yeah.
Kelly Clarkson interview
Seacrest interviews Clarkson during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her career.
The first four years of my career honestly were almost completely miserable. I was 19 when I auditioned and there was no one really guiding me. It’s the main reason why I signed up to do the show.
Emily Maynard interview
Seacrest interviews Maynard during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about Chris Harrison.
Chris would be a great ‘Bachelor.’ I think all the girls would be so lucky if Chris was ‘The Bachelor,’ but I don’t think he’s going to do it. I don’t think so, no. I don’t know, I’m the last person to ask, but I don’t think so.
Kris Allen interview

Jason Derulo interview
Seacrest interviews Derulo during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about performing on American Idol.

Jason Derulo interview
Seacrest interviews Derulo during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his single Undefeated.
The fans got to help me write the song. I started writing the song, but I left a bunch of lines blank and the fans have been helping me fill in the lines. The song is now completed, so it’s a collaboration between Coca-Cola, American Idol, the fans, and myself.
Katherine Jenkins & Donald Driver interview
Seacrest interviews Jenkins and Driver during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about being on Dancing With The Stars. Driver:
I think you get a little bit excited because your dancing between two people, but outside of that I think that’s it. Because you know you have to go out there and perform.
Jenkins:
My back was hurting me [last week]. I’ve never had a back spasm ever. So I didn’t actually know what happened…So it was really frightening because it’s not how we envisioned the end of the routine, and kind of disappointing when you’ve worked so hard, and it was working so well up until that point.
