Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things

Dinklage appears as Tyrion Lannister in the fourth episode of season one, Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things. Tyrion visits the stronghold of the rival Stark noble family on his way south from the Wall of Westeros and gives Bran Stark, played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright, a device that will allow Bran to ride a horse again after his paraplegic injury. Traveling south towards the capital of King’s Landing, Tyrion is captured by Lady Catelyn Stark, played by Michelle Fairley, who suspects him of attempting to murder Bran Stark. He also encounters Bronn, a mercenary played by Jerome Flynn.
