Falkirk sign

Falkirk make a duo signing of David Smith and Joe Shaugnessy on transfer deadline day with winger Smith signing a two-year contract after Hearts releases him. He is joined by defender Shaugnessy who signs from Aberdeen on loan until January. He has made over 50 appearances for the Irish U21 team but is yet to start a game this season while Smith has made 41 appearances at Tynecastle and scored once. Houston:
