Elevator punch video released

A video showing Rice punching his then-fiancé, now wife Janay Palmer in an Atlantic City Hotel elevator in February is released. Rice is suspended a few months after the incident without pay for the first two games of the season by Roger Goodell. This is the first video surveillance inside the elevator, the original video released by TMZ sports shows Rice dragging an unconscious Palmer outside of the elevator. We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator. That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.
