Settles class action lawsuits

Red Bull GmbH, makers of the energy drink, agrees to pay 13 million to US consumers to settle two class action lawsuits. The lawsuits claim Red Bull’s advertising is misleading. The settlement is reached due to the costs and distractions of the lawsuit. Legal notice from the settlement:

Red Bull denies any wrongdoing or liability and while Red Bull believes that its marketing and labeling have always been entirely truthful and accurate, it confirms that all future claims about the functional benefits of its products will be medically and/or scientifically supported.
