Oldham is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at the 29th induction ceremony. Peter Asher of Peter & Gordon:

[He] was a promotional genius. Andrew also saw what the Stones could become culturally. He brilliantly positioned the dangerous Stones . . . He encouraged — commanded — Mick and Keith to write their own songs.
