Skype Live Group Video Calling is now Free
Skype turns on the “group calling” feature on Windows, Mac and Xbox One into a free service. As TechCrunch reports, the group video calling on Skype was introduced in 2010 and has ever since remained a premium service immediately it went out of beta testing.
The company initiates the free service as a way of combating competition that has risen against them such as the Google hangout services which has been offering a free group video calling ever since it launched.
For now, only subscribers on Windows, Mac and Xbox One can enjoy the free group calling, but Skype assures that other platforms will be coming on board soon.
