I think after four albums, I finally feel a little more like myself than I ever have. I have this confidence and I have a better understanding of what I’m talking about. This is now a point in my life where I have experienced friendships or relationships or travel or exploring, it’s really fun.

Gomez releases her single Same Old Love, the second single from her album Revival. Same Old Love is a writing collaboration between Gomez, Tor Hermann, Mikkel Eriksen, Benjamin Levin, Charlotte Aitchison and Ross Golan.

I think Same Old Love represents a different kind of identity with love. The first people you love in your life are your parents. So for me, my dad is the first male figure I had in my life. And how much it means to respect your parents and have a healthy relationship with them because it trails on into your relationships when you’re older.

Gomez releases the music video for Good For You. The video reworks the track with string instruments and removes A$AP Rocky’s verse in the original release of the audio track. The video is directed by Sophie Muller.

There’s no love interest in the video, it’s all me. The reason why I wanted it to feel that way is because it’s about truly feeling good about yourself. I love the sensuality. It doesn’t try to hard. It’s not in everybody’s face. It’s like when you have that feeling with someone, when you just want to feel pretty and you want to feel good.
