Wake Up music video
The Vamps release a music video for their single Wake Up. The video features The Vamps performing on the roof of a high rise radio tower and includes a cameo from Beckham.
This video was something we had never done before; we performed on top of a radio tower, 100 feet in the air. It was pretty scary, but absolutely awesome. We were lucky enough to have Brooklyn Beckham in the video, he’s a super nice guy and crazy talented.
Wake Up
The Vamps release their single Wake Up. This track is featured on their album with the same title. The song is a collaboration between The Vamps and producer Steve Mac.
Wake Up is the first song off our second album. And, it’s the first song we ever did for the second album. That’s kinda how we got the whole sound of the next album. It’s about being there for a girl, and supporting through hard times. And, then wanting to kinda see the gratification for it, and just wanting to be appreciated. Not in a weird way. Just knowing that you are there for them, sort of thing. It kinda links in well because we haven’t released music for about a year. So, it’s kinda like Wake Up is probably a good statement for us to be back and releasing music.

I think for the single we aren’t as worried, because we’ve done it twice before, but the album—we have no idea—I’m quite scared actually. We don’t know what’s gonna happen, but we’re excited, very excited.

Wild Heart
The Vamps release their second single Wild Heart. The single was a collaboration between all four band members. James McVey:
We really enjoyed making (their previous single) Can We Dance, but with Wild Heart we kind of experimented more with musical genre in the sense that we added a banjo and mandolin. We like to try and push ourselves into directions to try new things really and we’ve gone for more of a folky vibe so we hope people like it. We like to think it’s a feel good song I guess.
