Strips on Letterman
Fey strips down to her Spanx underwear on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Because this is my last time wearing a fancy dress on a talk show — and conforming to gender norms out of respect for you — my gift to you is I want to give you the dress, you can keep it.
Elle Cover
Fey is featured on the cover of Elle‘s November issue as one of the Elle Women in Hollywood honorees. Fey discusses what makes her so driven.
I’m not sure I know, but having been an obedient and nerdy kid, I’m very driven to receive praise. If I were a smarter person, I’d be driven to receive money. I’m a dope—all I want is, ‘That was real good. Looks like you guys worked real hard on that.’ It’s always parent-teacher conference day in my mind.
Tina Fey interview

What is going on in Canada?
Tina Fey interview
Seacrest interviews Fey during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about her role in the film Muppets Most Wanted.
My accent, I am mostly Russian in the movie. I would say I’m 97% of the time I’m Russian. Every know and then, I’m Italian. Hopefully the kids won’t notice!
Elle Magazine interview
Fey gives an interview to Elle about her daily routine on the set of 30 Rock.
I read (pop-culture blog) Dlisted.com every day anyone can say rude things, but I find his writing to actually be very funny. He probably thinks I’m nuts because I say this constantly. He’s probably like, “She’s going to kill me and wear my skin!” But um, what else do I do every day? So much of it is repetitive you sit in the same chair, wear the same makeup, the same clogs.
Vogue cover
Fey appears on the cover of the March 2010 issue of Vogue magazine. She talks about her complicated relationship with fashion magazines.
We’re also the fattest country in the world. So it’s not like we’re all looking at fashion magazines and not eating.
O Magazine interview
Fey gives an interview to Oprah for O Magazine about her impersonation of Sarah Palin on SNL.
No. I just kept thinking, I don’t work here anymore, so if this ends up being lousy, I told you guys I don’t do this. I also felt safe doing it with Amy [Amy Poehler played both Hillary Clinton and Katie Couric in the SNL sketches]. I wouldn’t have enjoyed doing it alone, because I never did anything alone on SNL.
O Magazine Interview
Fey discusses getting the call to impersonate Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live:
Lorne played it cool, as he always does, and waited until the week of the first show. He called and said, Think about if you want to impersonate her. I was like, I’ll do a joke about her. I’ll do a sketch where I’m myself. I’ll do anything except impersonate her!
