Live action Beauty & The Beast

Disney announces a live action version of Beauty & The Beast. Bill Condon, the director of Dreamgirls and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, has been slated to direct this enterprise. How closely tied this film will be to the 1991 Disney animated film is as of yet unclear.

Beauty & The Beast is just one of a series of movies that Disney has decided to make into a live-action version of their well-known animated films. Others include Malificent, The Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella.
