Three domestic violence charges
Sapp receives three charges of domestic violence due to violent altercation with Moore in April. According to police reports Sapp and Moore were arguing by a pool at the M Resort on April 28 when Sapp threw a margarita into Moore’s face. He then grabbed her and nearly pulled her down to the ground. After leaving the for Moore’s apartment they continued to argue in the car and Sapp abit Moore’s finger. Once they returned to the apartment Sapp threw a belt at her and allegedly stepped on her face while wearing Air Jordan sandals. Moore suffered a possible concussion, bruising on her lips, legs, and shoulders, and a stiff neck. Sapp may face up to 18 months behind bars if he is convicted.
Police video released
TMZ releases a police interview video of Sapp talking about the events leading up to his arrest.

He says a dispute began when one of the women asked for a “tip” — and he told both of the women to leave. One of the women grabbed his cell phone and called hotel security. The woman then spat on him — which angered the other escort, and the two women began to argue. The argument spilled into the hallway, where he chased after them get his phone back, while naked. Luckily, Sapp says the dead bolt kept the door from closing and he went back into the room. At the end of the video Sapp appears distressed when the realizes he may go to jail.

Anheuser-Busch pulls its Bud Light commercials featuring Sapp. Anheuser-Busch rep:

Fires Sapp
The NFL Network fires Sapp following his arrest for soliciting prostitution. NFL Network spokesperson Alex Riethmiller:
Warren Sapp’s contract has been terminated and he no longer works for NFL Network.
Soliciting prostitution arrest
Sapp is arrested for soliciting a prostitute and assault in Phoenix. Officials:
He was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females.
Waitress posts no-tip receipt
A waitress posts Sapp’s credit card receipt online after the ex NFL player did not tip her. The waitress is not facing criminal liability at this point, but the restaurant in question will punish her. It is unclear whether the waitress will be terminated for her actions. According to management:
Regardless, famous or not [the bill] should never have been posted. It should not have happened.
