A Mighty Heart

In this drama, directed by Michael Winterbottom, Jolie plays Mariane Pearl, the wife of slain journalist Daniel Pearl. Co-starring: Dan Futterman and Irrfan Khan.

I was very worried. I’ve never been so nervous about anything. I work very hard but I’m very casual about it, it doesn’t keep me up at night but this one did. The night before shooting I was tossing and turning and imagining everything that could possibly go wrong. I felt bad that I was even assuming that I could play this woman that I respected so much and I felt humbled to a point of being unable to move.
