Sometimes, caught up in the moment, people promise to give their support but don’t, or can’t come through. That was not true with Angelina.

Jolie plays Christine Collins in this drama directed by Clint Eastwood. In this true story, Collins is a grief-stricken mother who takes on the LAPD to her own detriment when it stubbornly tries to pass off an obvious impostor as her missing child, while also refusing to give up hope that she will find him one day. Co-Starring Colm Feore and Amy Ryan.

It was a very hard film for all of us to make but at the same time because it was a true story, and because this woman went through so much, it was also very inspiring.

Jolie stars in the action movie Wanted, playing an assassin ready to stop anyone that gets in her way. Her character hates that people are killing for no reason but her only job in life is to kill. Jolie. Co-starring Morgan Freeman, James Mcvoy, Konstantin Khabensky.

Maybe this is Mrs. Smith after she killed Mr. Smith, went into depression, and got very, very, very moody. Fox is not happy, and she’s not easy to be around. She was interesting to me because she isn’t the love interest and she isn’t having fun with it like the Tomb Raider. She’s darker.

Jolie stars in the animated movie Kung Fu Panda. This movie tells a tale of a giant panda named Po who idoizes the Furious Five. After learning that the Viper, Crane, Monkey, Tigress, and Mantis is being trained by Shifu, Po decides he wants to become a kung fu master himself. Other cast members include Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, and Lucy Liu.

I just look for, whether it be any project, something that I find about a character that I admire, that I like, that I think sends, you know, a good message, or something that’s got some strength to it. So I loved that in a film like this, that I knew my children would see, and my daughters would see, that the boys would think it was really cool and love the whole movie but that also my daughters would, of course, have a good role model as a girl.

Jolie plays Grendel’s mother in this action adventure directed by Robert Zemeckis. The warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel who is terrorizing towns, and later, Grendel’s mother, who begins killing out of revenge. Co-starring Ray Winstone and Crispin Glover.

There are certain moments where I felt actually shy – and called home, just to explain that the fun movie that I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than [what] we expected.
