‘She was an angel’
Brown releases a statement following Bobbi Kristina’s death:
Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.
Condition worsens
Bobbi Kristina is removed from the hospital, taken off all medications and moved to hospice care, after being taken to Chicago on a medical plane to see specialists. Source:
They too confirmed what Atlanta doctors had been saying that there was no hope. That’s when she was taken off all meds and any artificial means of support. It seems that he [Bobby Brown] had to get a certain amount of confirmation before really letting go. That trip is what convinced him to allow them to take her off her meds and to ‘go naturally
She barely has any signs of life, hardly any vitals. Security has been beefed up and even local law enforcement have been called because the families have been told that death is now imminent and they want to make sure that photographers don’t get pictures of her body being removed.
Releases statement
Brown releases a statement regarding Bobbi Kristina. Brown asks that the media not believe relatives who are unfamiliar with Bobbi Kristina’s condition:
At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family. The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them. In [particular], Jerod Brown aka Jerod Carter aka YF Kennedy, continues to [make] statements and appear on television, however, he has not had any communication with Bobby Brown or the Houston family. He must be disregarded. Please do not attend any ‘meet and greet’ organized by Jerod Brown as he is unable to provide access to Bobbi Kristina or information on her condition. This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show.
Not pulling life support
Brown doesn’t want to take daughter Kristina off life support. Doctors advise Brown that Kristina will not improve and pulling life support is an appropriate action. Brown:

Exhausted, leaves tour
Brown quits the New Edition tour for medical reasons when he struggles to perform during a Mississippi concert. Brown abruptly leaves the stage short of breath. The singer is currently under the care of his doctor.
I apologize to the fans of New Edition. I really wanted to be with my brothers, but presently I am unable to give the fans what they typically expect from New Edition.
Brown, Etheridge marry
Brown marries Etheridge in Honolulu. The couple is surrounded by family and friends including his older children. The groom wears a red suit and Adidas sneakers that match those of Cassius, who serves as ring bearer. Four young flower girls are in attendance.
Houston, Brown divorce
Houston files for divorce from her husband in Orange County after 14 years together. Houston also files for custody of their 13 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina. Brown:
I’m really saddened by the whole situation.
Houston, Brown marry
Houston marries Brown in front of 800 people wearing all white. Houston wears a $40,000 dress made of French lace and has the reception party decorated in purple, her favorite color.
I was a nervous wreck, I cried during the ceremony, but I’ve been ecstatic ever since. Bobby is crazy.
