Jindal attacks Trump

Makes Statement0 Comments

Jindal attacks Trump in a series of interviews.

We know that Mr. Trump has not read the Bible, and we know this for a simple reason: Donald Trump is not in the Bible. So we know he has not read it.

In reference to Trump’s’ comments on Carly Fiorina:

I think it’s pretty outrageous for him to be attacking anybody’s appearance. He looks like he’s got a squirrel on his head.

‘An awful night for Louisiana’

Press Conference4 Comments

Louisiana Gov. Jindal speaks from just outside a Lafayette movie theater after the shooting.

This is an awful night for Lafayette. This is an awful night for Louisiana. This is an awful night for the United States. But we will get through this.

Jindal also says that two of the patrons in the theater were schoolteacher friends, one of whom may have shielded the other from a fatal bullet — and one who likely saved even more lives.

One of the teachers jumped on top of the second teacher in an act of braveness. Both teachers got shot but the second one, the one who got saved, even though she got shot she had the presence of mind to pull the fire alarm and save other lives

Say Louisiana is most pro-life State

Makes Statement0 Comments

Speaking at the National Right to Life Convention, Jindal says he has signed many abortion restrictions in his two terms, making Louisiana is the “most pro-life state.” He compares the Supreme Court’s decision on same-sex marriage to its decision on Roe vs. Wade:

The left wants to take God out of the public square. If the court is just going to be a public opinion poll … we should just get rid of it…You’ve got folks going after business, individuals, churches and pastors for their sincerely held religious beliefs. . . . When Hillary Clinton or President Obama talk about religious expression all they mean is that for an hour or two a week in church you can say what you want. That’s not religious freedom. Religious freedom is the ability to live our lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week according to our sincerely held beliefs.
