Something in the Water
The artist releases, Something In The Water, from her album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1.
It’s really kind of a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and kind of having that ‘a-ha’ moment, to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward.
Song inspires TV series0 Comments
Underwood’s song, Two Black Cadillacs, is the inspiration for an upcoming TV series. Underwood and entertainment moguls Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ildy Modrovich will produce a six-hour television series based on the song, which is about two women at the funeral of a cheating man they presumably killed. Underwood will serve as executive producer of the show.
Underwood is expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher. Underwood announces the news via Instagram photos of her two dogs wearing “I’m going to be a big sister and big brother” outfits. Underwood:
We haven’t picked names yet but it’s looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher.

New sound next album
Underwood says her next album will represent a “new version” of herself as she changes the sound of her music.
It’s just a progression, a different sound without losing myself in it. I’m not taking some crazy musical departure from what I’ve done, but it definitely feels different. … It will feel different, look different, sound different.
Underwood does not say when the news songs she is working on will be released.
Somethin’ Bad video
Lambert teams up with Underwood, to work on their recent video, Somethin’ Bad. Although the video doesn’t show Lambert’s uneasiness, she admits that she was nervous about joining forces with her friend.
When she came in the studio I was writing to Blake, I’m in over my head, I don’t know what I’ve done! When you respect someone like that you get so nervous. To hit the notes she hits, I would have to take off running and jump as high as I could.
Something Bad performance

The artist releases her video of the single from the album which shares the same name. Underwood knew in the beginning how she wanted the video portrayed:
When I first heard the song, I just had visions of what I wanted it to be like. And I really wanted it to be a dark Wizard of Oz in 2012 kind of thing.
New face: Carrie Underwood
Underwood joins Almay as a Global Brand Ambassador to represent their full line of products in print and on screen.
Honestly, I could never be associated with a company I didn’t believe in. I love Almay’s positive approach to beauty because it’s so important to celebrate our natural beauty and enhance what makes us unique. I’m also really impressed by their products, which I use in my daily life and when I’m working.
See You Again
Underwood releases the official video for the single from her album, Blown Away. The song first debuted on American Idol earlier this month.
See You Again was actually written for Chronicles of Narnia. When they asked me if I would be interested in writing for the movie, I got a couple of writer friends together, Hillary Lindsey and David Hodges. And we just wanted to see what we could come up with. It could have been something awesome, or it could have been nothing. We wrote three amazing songs in those four days that we spent writing.

If they’re not Prince Charming, we try to make them Prince Charming. But Prince Charming does exist! I found one.
Two Black Cadillacs
Underwood debuts her music video, Two Black Cadillacs. The artist uses the Stephen King classic, Christine as an inspiration for her new video:
I really don’t know why I’ve always loved horror movies, but I know why I’ve always loved Stephen King. My mom was such a huge fan. I guarantee you she’s read everything he’s ever written. I would borrow her books and read her books. This is great reading material for, like, you know, a grade-school-er, right?

Carrie Underwood interview
Seacret interviews Underwood during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks her if she would ever be a judge on American Idol.
I’ve never been asked to be a part of American Idol in that capacity. I don’t know if I could ever judge. I think I would be nice to everybody, even if they really needed to hear the truth. So, I don’t think I would probably make a very good judge.
