A source says the couple’s break up is due to their struggle to start a family, specifically with disagreements over having a baby:
Miranda felt very lonely in their marriage and really wanted a baby…Unfortunately, having a baby wasn’t a priority for Blake who was focused on his career and having fun. He was enjoying his life and wasn’t ready to make that kind of commitment. The baby battle really put a strain on their relationship.
Announce divorce
Shelton and Lambert disclose their divorce is final after a four-year marriage. They do not state when exactly the marriage dissolution became final.

Cancels Calgary concert
Lambert cancels her July 9 concert in Calgary, Canada, due to her vocal chords being strained from inflammation.

0 CommentsLambert tells a story about how she started helping the Tishomingo Animal Shelter after she met with the town’s head of animal control. As soon as Lambert saw the shelter, she knew that she had to step in.
I was like, “What shelter? There is no shelter”. It broke my heart. I called my mom crying, and I was like, We have to do something in Tishomingo. There’s nothing…It’s all about those dogs in those enclosures that need a home.That’s what we’re doing today, because when I came here, there was nothing.
Somethin’ Bad video
Lambert teams up with Underwood, to work on their recent video, Somethin’ Bad. Although the video doesn’t show Lambert’s uneasiness, she admits that she was nervous about joining forces with her friend.
When she came in the studio I was writing to Blake, I’m in over my head, I don’t know what I’ve done! When you respect someone like that you get so nervous. To hit the notes she hits, I would have to take off running and jump as high as I could.
Platinum
Lambert ‘s album, Platinum, takes the number one spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. She becomes the only country artist in 50-years to have each of her first five albums debut at number one.
