Chad Hurley is an American entrepreneur born in 1977 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Hurley is the co-founder and former CEO of MixBit and YouTube. In 2006, Google purchased YouTube from Hurley and Steve Chen for $1.65 billion. Before Hurley started YouTube, he worked in the PayPal section of  PayPal and he designed the initial PayPal logo. Business 2.0 ranked him 28th on its 50 People Who Matter Now list.
