He rose to prominence in 1982 with NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman. Letterman is the longest running late night talk show host of all time with over 30 years since his debut. TV Guide ranked Letterman 45th on its 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time list. Letterman has won numerous Emmy Awards and American Comedy Awards during his career. He is married to Regina Lasko and has one child.
