Ali Hewson

Ali Hewson is an Irish businesswoman and activist. She was born in 1961 in Raheny, Ireland. She married Bono of the rock band U2 in 1982. Hewson has been the inspiration for many of U2 songs, notably Sweetest Thing.  In 1993, she was the narrator for the documentary Black Wind, White Land, about the aftermath of the Chernobyl tragedy. She is the co-founder of Nude Skincare and the fashion brand EDUN.

Alfred Hitchcock

Alfred Hitchcock was an English producer and film director, born in Leytonstone Essex, England in 1899. He was famous for the methods he created for suspense and thriller films. In 1926, he married Alma Reville.  Hitchcock became known as England’s premier director and moved to Hollywood in 1939.  He directed over 50 feature films and had a television program titled Alfred Hitchcock Presents. On April 29, 1980, Hitchcock died from renal failure in Bel Air, California.

Alfonzo Ratliff is a retired American professional boxer.  He was born in 1956 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. In 1980, Ratliff won the Golden Gloves tournament in Chicago.  He turned pro later that year and earned the WBC Cruiserweight Title in 1985 by defeating Carlos De Leon in a decision victory.  Ratliff finished his career in 1989 with 25 wins and 9 losses.

Alex Stewart is a retired English professional boxer, born in London in 1964. In 1984, he was part of the Jamaican Olympic team in the 1984 Summer Olympics.  Stewart won a bronze medal in the 1983 Pan American Games. He finished his boxing career with a 43-10 record.  Stewart lost bouts to former world heavyweight champions Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, George Foreman, and Michael Moorer.

In November 2007, he was appointed Chief Judge of the United States Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Kozinski is also known for his judicial commentary and essays.

R. U. Story.  Later that year, he won four awards at the BET Awards.

It was founded in 1965 by Fred DeLuca and Peter Buck as Pete’s Super Submarines. In 1966, they formed Doctor’s Associates Inc., which continues to own the company. They chose this names in hope of earning enough money for DeLuca to attend medical school. Subway’s best selling sandwich is the BMT, which includes pepperoni, salami, and ham.
