Sirens
Lloyd releases second single off her upcoming album. The single titled Sirens is a ballad and Lloyd says it is very different from her previous singles.
It exposes me. I feel like it shows the exact artist that I am. I’ve waited so long for a song like this. It gives me a massive opportunity to show people that I can sing. I’m not used to singing ballads; it’s what I did in the beginning. So it’s nice to bring that back. And it’s nice to have a song with a lot of meaning as opposed to previous singles where it’s all been a bit bubblegum and kind of childish. Now I’m trying to be a lot more grown up and show the softer side of me.
I Wish
Lloyd releases single I Wish. The single is a collaboration with producers Shellback, Ilya and OZGO. I Wish also features rapper T.I.
I think any other person wouldn’t have had the same sort of impact as T.I. I think T.I. not only listens to it and then writes a verse about money, cars and bitches, he actually, you know, goes along with the story … He just fits it really well. And he’s not aggressive. He’s just really nice. He’s just T.I.!
Oath
Lloyd releases fourth and final single from her album Sticks and Stones. The single titled Oath features a collaboration with Becky G who wrote the song for Lloyd.
Becky G:
I wrote Oath for Cher Lloyd because there were really no best-friend anthems out there. Not only did she love it, she wanted me to rap on it, too! I’ve been a fan of Cher’s since Swagger Jagger came out. She’s so little, yet so in-your-face. That’s what I want to be like!
Want U Back
Lloyd releases third single titled Want U Back. The single is featured on her first record Sticks and Stones. The song also is a collaboration by writers Savan Kotecha and Shellback.
It’s basically a track from lots of different girls’ stories out there. A lot of people are telling me they can relate to the track and they’ve been in that situation, but it’s also got an element of fun in it.
With Ur Love
Lloyd releases second single titled With Ur Love. The track is from her album Sticks and Stones and features a collaboration with Mike Posner.
I actually get to sing (in this song) instead of jumping around like an idiot.
Swagger Jagger
Lloyd releases her debut single Swagger Jagger. Lloyd collaborated with The Runners and The Monarch to produce and write the track.
It’s good, isn’t it? I didn’t really expect it if I’m honest—I’m not complaining though! I thought it would either go all the way or completely miss the top 20.
