Wins Olympic bronze medal
Innerhofer wins the Olympic bronze medal in the Men’s Alpine Skiing: Combined event. The Italian puts in a combined time of 2:45.67 minutes, and is happy to have a place on the podium. He celebrates with silver medalist Ivica Kostelić and gold medalist Sandro Viletta.
At the start gate, I nearly decided not to bother because the downhill went so well for a lot of the slalom specialists. I can’t believe it, this is crazy.

Innerhofer wins the Olympic silver medal in the Men’s Alpine Skiing: Downhill event. The Italian finishes the race with a time of 2 minutes, 6.29 seconds, just beating Kjetil Jansrud of Norway who had a time of 2 minutes, 6.33 seconds.
I’m not one of those skiers who can win the overall or the discipline title. With my health condition that wouldn’t be realistic. So I go race by race and today I had my best run of the season
