The Italian puts in a combined time of 2:45.67 minutes, and is happy to have a place on the podium. He celebrates with silver medalist Ivica Kostelić and gold medalist Sandro Viletta.
At the start gate, I nearly decided not to bother because the downhill went so well for a lot of the slalom specialists. I can’t believe it, this is crazy.
