Total Wrestling Magazine interview

Page talks to Total Wrestling Magazine about Jake Roberts, his favorite WWE superstars and his own run in WWE.

I didn’t have the run I should have had in WWE, but that’s ok, I had a great run in WCW. I lived the dream, and it was great fun. In WWE, I got the European Title, Tag-Team Titles, sure, but they didn’t mean anything to me. There was too much heat on the WCW guys at that time, they were seen as the enemy, we almost put the WWE out of business.

NoInHallofFame.com interview

Page talks to NotInHallofFame.com about a conversation he had with Steve Austin regarding when he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

I think at some point it will happen. Steve Austin said to me the other day ‘No one ever did it the way you did it at such a success level’. He said to me that he was waiting for me to go in, and when it happens it happens. I’m honored that the CAC and National Wrestling Hall of Fame inducted me, and I would be honored if the WWE put me in their Hall of Fame. I’m focused on what’s happening right now with DDPYOGA and last year to get to induct Jake and with Scott being inducted in the same year, and they both came out of my house, you know DDP’s Accountability Crib.

Talk is Jericho interview

DDP and Roberts are guests on Talk is Jericho to discuss DDPYoga, accountability and sober living. Roberts comments on sobriety.

The big thing that getting healthy has given me back is the ability to dream and hope again. That had all died. Nobody knows the pain and suffering that goes into the addict’s way of life. People think, “They’re still getting screwed up they must be happy!” No… that’s not the way it works.

DDP talks to Wrestling Podcast Network about Jake Roberts, teaching yoga to WWE talent and his own time in the ring.

Triple H brought me down there about four months ago. I did a seminar with the guys and girls down there and they loved it. Everybody has the program now. It’s great for healing your body.

Piper’s Pit interview

DDP is a guest on Piper’s Pit to discuss road stories, Dusty Rhodes and Jake Roberts.

I actually knew Jake but he never knew I did the managing. So he comes in the power-plant one day when I’m in the ring and he says, “Page? Is that you?”

Ross Report interview

DDP is a guest on The Ross Report to discuss DDPYoga, WCW and his first story line in WWE.

I would have done people’s champion vs people’s champion. There was money there. I made that idea after meeting Dwayne. Then I got up there and they wanted me to do the stalker thing. I should have said, “That’s an awesome angle for somebody, not me” and walked out right there. But I didn’t.

Journey of a Frontman interview

DDP talks to Journey of a Frontman about DDP Yoga, Heath Slater and Shark Tank.

I thought it was awesome. I love the kid (Slater). He was having the time of his life because he was a fan of all of us. So he couldn’t wait for the Vader Bomb or the Diamond Cutter. I mean he loved it. And he’s a good kid, he’s a damn good worker. I hope at some point he actually gets the push. He could back it up because he can talk and he can work.

Steve Austin Show interview

DDP is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss road stories and why he’s not interested in putting DDPYoga on reality TV.

Some of the people who have come to talk to me, want to control us. They want us to do thing I’m not gonna do. No matter what, I’m gonna be true to myself and what my brand is. I want to shoot reality.

WGD Weekly interview

DDP talks to WGD Weekly about Jake Roberts going into the WWE Hall of Fame and DDPYoga in WWE.

When you get to Jericho, you get to be 40 and think you’re career is over like I did. All of a sudden, you find DDP Yoga and he’s addicted to it, it’s the only workout he does. All of a sudden he is back to making a million dollars a year in the ring and kicking ass with his band on the road, he couldn’t do either before DDP Yoga and he’ll be the first to tell you.

WWE.com interview

DDP speaks to WWE.com about WCW’s annual Halloween Havoc event and his memories of it.

It was the WCW equivalent to SummerSlam. We held the last five Havocs in Las Vegas and the fans were electric. There were celebrities visiting us backstage. It was the closest we got to the feeling of today’s SummerSlam without being at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
