Billboard interview
Parton discusses Christianity and her large following from the LGBT community in an interview with Billboard. Parton, when asked about her large LGBT following:
They know that I completely love and accept them, as I do all people. I’ve struggled enough in my life to be appreciated and understood. I’ve had to go against all kinds of people through the years just to be myself. I think everybody should be allowed to be who they are, and to love who they love. I don’t think we should be judgmental. Lord, I’ve got enough problems of my own to pass judgment on somebody else.

Adopts Glastonbury stray
Crews find an abandoned dog as they work on cleanup after England’s Glastonbury Festival and name it Dolly after her performance on the Pyramid stage. Dolly promises to adopt the dog if the owners are not found.
I had my manager Danny Nozell call the Happy Landings Animal Shelter to make sure the dog is being treated and cared for properly. At this time, nobody has claimed the dog and the dog is in great hands at the shelter. I will take the dog home to America if nobody claims her within a reasonable amount of time.
Dolly Parton interview
Williams interviews Parton about her album Blue Smoke, her husband, and her god-daughter, Miley Cyrus,
I have known Miley since she was a baby. I’m really more the fairy godmother. I never really got to spend all the time with her that you usually would. I used to be on her Hanna Montana show — I was aunt Dolly on the show. Miley is going through a lot of changes and we just have to trust her because she is so talented. She is so smart. She just had to be totally drastic because we wouldn’t let her grow up like Shirley Temple we never wanted her to grow up either. But Miley said I had to kill Hanna Montana in order to be Miley.

Dolly Parton interview
0 CommentsThe Guardian interviews Parton about her signature look and how long it takes her to get ready in the morning.
[It doesn’t take Long] Not long, because I’m so programmed for it. First thing I do in the morning, after I have my breakfast and do my spiritual work, is put on my makeup and fix my hair, and I can do my makeup in 15 minutes.
I do have to watch it because I’m only about 5ft and you can’t hold on to too much weight when you’re so short. So I stay on a low-carb diet pretty much through the week and eat what I want on weekends. And of course, nothing matters on Thanksgiving and Christmas! Ha ha ha!
I do wear high heels in the house otherwise I can’t reach the cabinets! I don’t wear my heels in the shower or when I sleep and I wear my little tennis shoes when I do my treadmill but when I go out, of course I will. That’s my look and that’s how I’m always gonna be.
