The North Remembers

Clarke appears as Daenerys Targaryen in the first episode of season two, The North Remembers, with Iain Glen as her counseler Ser Jorah Mormont. After the death of her husband Khal Drogo, played by Jason Momoa, she leads the few remaining members of her Dothraki khalasar into the Red Waste desert land of Essos. Ser Jorah tells her that she is surrounded by powerful enemies who will kill her and take her dragons. Desperate and facing starvation for her and her people, she sends three of her Dothraki bloodriders in different directions to find refuge for the group.
