The artist releases his single, Space Bound,  from the album, Recovery. Producer and songwriter Jim Jonsin produced the track. Jonsin about the artist:

He was open to ideas. He was real respectful to my craft. He let me do what I do. He asked me ideas on some of the lyrics. We had ideas for lyric changes. Certain words may or may not work on radio. We talked about that. He had a setup outside of the room to do production, but I’d rather be in the room where he was at, and he was cool with that. And I knocked out a couple of joints in there while he was in there with me. He was pretty open and he let me do my thing. He did his thing. It was a pretty good experience.

Beautiful

The artist releases his single, Beautiful, from the album, Relapse.

One of the only reasons that I put that track on there is that I feel like it’s the best song out of that batch that I did when I wasn’t sober. At the time I felt like, ‘This is it for me.’ I wrote the first verse and a half in rehab, and when I came out, I finished it. It was the only song that marks that period without bringing me back to that place. Every other track not only didn’t fit with the album, but when I listened to it, it would bring up bad memories.

3 a.m.

The artist releases his single, 3 a.m., from the album, Relapse.

In that song I relapse in a rehab facility or something like it. I just black out and f–king kill everybody. I was trying to create a triple entendre with the [album] title: relapsing literally, going back to the old days – just blacking the f–k out and killing everyone. I wanted to paint a picture for the listener, to make them feel like they are in the story and part of it as each line progresses.
