Slattery is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Roger Sterling, Jr. on Mad Men.

He wants something, even if it is socially unacceptable — he goes for it whether it be a hooker or a cocktail waitress, or lights up cigarette after cigarette. … The thing about Roger is he has a great sense of humor, and he laughs at his own jokes, which relates back to the kind of person he is.

Paul is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad.

This season there was a lot of character development, and it showed the softer side of Jesse. He’s an emotional kid trying to find his way, and people are pulling for him. In the first season, they weren’t sure what they’d do with Jesse, and the second season opened up to different things. He wasn’t from a battered home but just got mixed up in the wrong crowd. He thinks cooking is an art, and he’s proud of it. He’s doing something he’s good at.

McBrayer is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Kenneth Parcell on 30 Rock.

Harris is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother.

I love being in the mix again this year, but am absolutely over the moon about HIMYM‘s best comedy series nomination. The only multicamera show in the mix! This kind of recognition is huge for us. Just huge. It should be quite the night. Being asked to host the show—terrific. Getting a third nomination—fantastic. Having the ability to scribble my name in the envelope backstage when no one is looking—priceless.

Cryer is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Dr. Alan Harper on Two and a Half Men.

It’s great to have some new people in the category, because it’s some new people I can lose to. This year, I’ve decided that if I lose I’m just going to lose it completely and beat the crud out of somebody sitting near me. … I think people will watch the Emmy telecast just to see who in the heck I beat up.

Weaver is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Mary Griffith on Prayers for Bobby.

I’m in shock. It really does mean so much because I think Mary Griffith’s story is so wrenching, and the courage she has to share this story with all of us so other families don’t make this mistake, to me that’s the way that’s carried this tiny movie along. Our producers who worked for 13 years to get this made, they are jumping up and down. So it’s wonderful for us. … We’re all in shock.

Lange is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Edith “Big Edie” Beale on Grey Gardens.

I was awake already and I had forgotten that this was the morning. I’m way up north at my cabin in the woods in northern Minnesota. And I thought it was somebody calling to talk to me about my bat problem here in the cabin. So I was very relieved and it was an unanticipated bit of joyful information.
