I came to Los Angeles while touring with a friend and happened to play some songs in her friend’s office, and someone involved in music licensing walked by. She heard it, asked if she could pitch it for licensing. The next thing I know, I’m being asked if I want to be in a Subaru commercial. I don’t own a TV, but saw it in my manager’s office right before it aired, and I had a feeling this was going to have some kind of impact on people.
