Abbey Road rooftop concert

16371042_Beatles_Rooftop_ConcertThe Beatles (with Billy Preston), perform a rooftop concert on top of the Apple building on Savile Row in London. It is the last time The Beatles perform live. They play Get Back, Don’t Let Me Down, I’ve Got A Feeling, The One After 909 and Dig A Pony. Crowds of people gather below and watch from windows in nearby buildings. Lennon ended the performance by saying:

I’d like to say ‘Thank you’ on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

The band appear on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, performing Apples and Oranges. In a short interview at the end of the song Clark asks the members if they like American food and about their next stop in the US (SanFanscisco).
