McGregor: Diaz is a bitch, will fight again
At the An Evening With Event in Manchester, McGregor says that Diaz became Mayweather’s bitch.
Diaz is a bitch. I still have respect for him, but when he took the video call from Floyd, he became a bitch. He should have told Mayweather to f-ck off. Then it would have been me against Nate. So f-ck Nate, f-ck Nick, f-ck the Diaz brothers. And if you wanna be down with the Diaz Brothers then f-ck you too! It was the biggest f-cking bitch move I ever saw..Me and Nate will throw down again. And I imagine that it will be at lightweight. His mates should say, ‘You’re face is dropping to the left. You should chill and enjoy the money’. But I’m sure me and Nate will fight again.
McGregor: Mayweather will be the first $billion fight
At the An Evening With… event in Manchester, McGregor says an upcoming fight with Mayweather will most likely happen at the end of 2017 or the start of 2018, and it will be the first billion-dollar fight.
This is happening, That fight has been in the works for a while. I’ve got the youth, the confidence and I’m unpredictable…I can make this fight without the UFC. But everyone has got to know their place. I was happy to receive [the $25 million offer from Dana]. We’re getting there. We’re moving up. This is the first billion-dollar fight.

Collins brothers offer to help McGregor beat Mayweather
Collins, who beat Chris Eubank in 1995, says that if McGregor is willing to be trained by his brother, Paschal, he could beat Mayweather.
If he comes up with my brother and does training in his gym, and if he gets a Mayweather fight, we’ll sit down and put together a plan for him to beat Mayweather and if he follows our plan, he’ll beat him. Everybody can be beaten if you put together the right plan. I know that from experience…I looked at Mayweather and said, ‘Do you know what, if Conor is going to beat him, this is how he could do it’. My brother Paschal and I sat down and we put together a strategy, one day chatting, on how we would prepare him to fight Mayweather. We would show him how to win…We communicate with him and John Kavanagh’s his trainer, he’s a great guy. John Kavanagh knows that we are the boxing brains in Ireland. The only reason I’m saying that is because McGregor has the ability to do it. He’s a super athlete who can change his style. Some guys are set, ingrained in a certain way of fighting. He’s not. He can change. That’s what makes him great and that’s why he’s so popular.
Kavanagh: A Mayweather fight would make McGregor’s training a lot easier
Kavanagh says training for a Mayweather boxing match would be easier than the average MMA fight.
In a weird way, you’re getting prepared to fight one of the best boxers there’s ever been. But in another way, it would actually almost feel like a break for us because we wouldn’t have to keep up the other skill sets. In mixed martial arts your trying to work on seven or eight different skill sets. Whereas in boxing, it’s one…it’s just boxing. It’d almost be like a break to only have to work on one and not work on everything. If the deal is right and the two of them come to an agreement and that happens we’ll of course plan for that and bring in some of the experts. But I’ll still be playing my little role in the corner.
White: McGregor doesn’t need Mayweather to sell PPVs
White says McGregor can pull more pay-per-views than Mayweather, and talks about Manny Pacquiao’s earnings.
Here’s the thing, Manny Pacquiao ended up doing that fight and you hear all these numbers thrown around, but it’s something like Floyd got $250 [million], Manny got $100 [million]. It’s still a lot of money for both guys, but it’s not a big fight without Manny. Manny was as important in that fight as Floyd was…I’m going to tell you why Conor McGregor is still doing over a million pay-per-view buys and Floyd isn’t. Because Conor McGregor will fight anybody, anywhere, anytime, including Floyd Mayweather. He absolutely is that guy. Whether Conor fights Floyd or he doesn’t, there’s a line of guys that are ready to fight Conor that Conor will fight that are going to do over a million pay-per-view buys. Conor McGregor loves to fight and he is one of those guys that will take on anyone, anywhere. Floyd keeps putting this thing on his social media of Conor getting choked by (Nate) Diaz, but Conor fights.
McGuigan: McGregor lacks financial ability to take on Mayweather
McGuigan, currently training Michael Conlan in Las Vegas, writes about the financial aspects of a Mayweather-McGregor fight.
I can understand how Mayweather would be dismissive. Dana White’s guarantee of $50 million split down the middle does not reflect the power or the value of the respective sports. Mayweather would not get out of bed for $25 million, and McGregor’s record purse to date is the $3m banked for his fight against Nate Diaz. Clearly McGregor needs Mayweather more than Pretty Boy needs him. Indeed this is as much a challenge to UFC as it is to Mayweather, with McGregor unhappy with the money that filters down his way from a sport that changed hands for $4 billion dollars last summer. It is a pity McGregor quit boxing in favour of mixed martial arts as a kid in Dublin. You can see just by looking at him that he would have made a decent boxer if he had been exposed to the right environment and given an opportunity to develop.
Mayweather taunts McGregor’s earning power
Mayweather tweets about what he ses as McGregor’s (lack of) earning power.
Before you ask for $25M, be worth more than $25M. You have the "2" and the "5" right but you meant to say $2.5M not $25M. pic.twitter.com/07vaWF0hen

Woodley: McGregor can last a couple of rounds, but will lose against Mayweather
Woodley says McGregor can survive in the ring against Mayweather.
I think it is going to happen this year. I have very strong insights that it will happen.Conor is from a karate background; he’s a striker by nature. He could probably last a couple of rounds… He will lose. He will lose convincingly but he could last at least six rounds. “Conor has been known to take some crazy punches with 4-ounce gloves on. If you hit him with 8-ounce gloves on, it’s a different thing.
Report: Diaz in talks with Mayweather to join TMT
After Diaz says he intends to get a boxing license:
I’m not doing it for a publicity stunt, I’m doing it because I love the sport of boxing. I want to win, I want to win fights for real and get out of this MMA shit that I’m not even into anyway.
BJPenn.com’s Chris Taylor confirms with sources that Mayweather has reached out to Diaz about joining ‘The Money Team’ (TMT).
A source close to the Mayweather camp has told me that Floyd Mayweather has reached out to Nate Diaz about joining TMT (The Money Team)

Roddy: McGregor ‘more serious’ about Mayweather
Striking coach Roddy says there has been a change in McGregor’s attitude to a potential fight with Mayweather.
He would mainly bring up Floyd in passing, but over the past month or two it’s started to become more serious. It was just chitchat before but now everything is a lot more direct. Saying that, I still have no idea if this fight can ever happen, but it definitely seems to be getting closer and closer to becoming a reality.
As to McGregor’s performance:
We all know what happens when Conor lands that left hand. It doesn’t matter who it is, if that hand lands on your chin you’re going to sleep. It’s kind of like a trade off between their two skill sets. We know that Conor can knock anyone stiff, but will he be able to land a solid connection on Mayweather, a guy who is probably the greatest defensive fighter of all time? Everybody has found that very difficult, but Conor poses a very different threat. Any time Mayweather has taken a serious shot, it’s always been against a southpaw. Conor is obviously a southpaw and he will be coming in and attempting to hit Mayweather from angles he probably hasn’t seen before because they come from different disciplines. Conor will be a lot bigger too. This is going to be a tricky fight for Mayweather because it won’t be like anything he has seen before in a traditional boxing match. Conor moves in such a unique way, it would be nearly impossible for Mayweather to get someone to replicate his style, especially because none of us have ever seen Conor contest a professional boxing match before.
Rogan: Mayweather can’t pull as many PPVs as McGregor
Rogan says Mayweather doesn’t have as much power in negotiations as he thinks.
Hey dude, it’s a lot of f-cking money. Here’s the deal; Floyd Mayweather’s last pay-per-view had 300 thousand pay-per-view buys. Conor’s last two pay-per-views were 1.3 million and 1.5 million.

Rogan: McGregor can beat Mayweather using MMA gloves
Rogan says McGregor can beat Mayweather if he uses MMA gloves:
Let me tell ya, here’s where Conor McGregor can win… MMA gloves. Let’s have a boxing match, with MMA gloves. Floyd’s had some serious problems in the past with his hands. And he uses those big ass pillow gloves because of it, and he’s been known to not really sit down with his punches. He just picks guys apart. There’s no doubt about it, Floyd is a masterful boxer but that’s a big transition for him, to fighting with smaller gloves.

Mayweather: Why is Dana White making all the money, when McGregor’s fighting?’
Mayweather talks about White’s offer.
The last time I made $25 million was ten years ago. I’m not bragging or boasting, I’m just telling the truth. I’m appreciative and thankful. $25 million is still great money. For the last however many years, my guaranteed lowest is $32m. But in the Canelo fight I made over $100 million. And Canelo and Pacquiao made over $400 million. Just me, sponsorship money leading up to the Pacquiao fight, that week I made something like $25-30 million. If I was so desperate and hurting for money I’d be back…I don’t want to talk to Dana White. Dana White was a player, he was a boss, but he was a small boss…so Dana is just an employee. I like Dana White, I don’t have anything against him. I remember when he used to carry my bags. Now he’s such a tough guy. All I got to say is this, ‘Why everytime Conor McGregor go out there and fight, Dana White makes more money than Conor McGregor when Conor McGregor go out there and fight.’

Mayweather: I’ll coach Rousey if she’s willing
When asked if he could help Rousey improve her hand work, Mayweather says:
I’ll work with her, if she’s willing to work with me.
Rousey has previously criticized Mayweather over domestic violence. Mayweather also talks about spending $250,000 in a jewelers, and investing.
I’m retired, but I still got the great life ‘cos I made smart investments. The key is smart investments. [I advise you to invest in] real estate. I have $1.2 billion in real estate. Surround yourself with a smart team. Like I tell a female, ‘Give me 1% of your trust, I’ll earn the other 99’.
Mayweather: I’m a ‘businessman’ and ‘absolutely’ want to fight McGregor
In an interview on Showtime tonight Mayweather is asked if he will fight McGregor.
Absolutely…I’m a businessman… We can do some crazy numbers. If it’s Conor McGregor, [coming back] makes sense for me. But if it’s anyone else, it doesn’t make sense. Not for me.

White: Mayweather wrong to turn down McGregor fight offer
White says Mayweather is wrong to turn down his $25 million offer.
First of all Floyd thinks he’s so much bigger than Conor — he’s wrong. Listen, Floyd’s gone undefeated for 20 years. I give him all the credit in the world for doing that. Conor’s been around for three or four years, and for him to think he’s a much bigger star than Conor isn’t true, and I’m not going to pay him way more money than I’m gonna pay my guy. We all know that $25 million is not peanuts, and so does he. He’s hanging his watch out the window. His watch is the problem, ok? If you’re wearing a watch that’s $250,000 you’re gonna $25 million real quick pal. And hey Floyd! Taxes are coming up too, buddy. They’re gonna be all over you, pal.. Floyd said that he made an offer. He never made an offer. It’s not true. I made an offer. OK. So if you’re serious there’s a real offer. Where do we go from here Floyd?
Mayweather to White: ‘You’re a f-cking comedian’
Mayweather responds to White’s $25 million offer to fight McGregor:
You’re a f-cking comedian!
