Slater takes to Twitter to address the legal situation surrounding the warrant placed for his arrest for a 2011 incident on Wrestlemania weekend.

WWE releases a statement regarding Slater’s legal situation stemming from a warrant placed for his arrest. WWE claims they will take appropriate action when more information is presented to them. The statement reads:
WWE has been advised that a misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued against Heath Miller (aka Heath Slater), but we have not seen a copy or been provided with the underlying charges. Once this information is received by WWE, we will take the appropriate action.
Atlanta police issue a warrant for Slater’s arrest stemming from assault and battery charges filed against him by a female security guard who claims he choked her and tried to pull her to his hotel room at the Wrestlemania after party in 2011. The guard also claims that Slater injured her vertebrate during the attack.
Miz captures the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Battleground in an over-the-top-rope elimination battle royal. Miz last eliminates Ziggler at fourteen minutes and thirty seconds for the victory.
USA Network airs the 1,000th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW live. The special features appearances By The Rock, D-Generation-X and Brock Lesnar as well as Christian vs Miz, Lita vs Slater and Punk vs Cena for the WWE championship.
