Officers flee Mosul

Senior commanders of the Iraqi security forces flee the northern city of Mosul. Poor leadership, corruption and disorganization in military ranks is blamed for the surrender of the city to ISIS militants. According to a soldier identified as Private First Class Mohammed al Nasseri:

There were many more terrorists in Fallujah and the fight was over in a month. (Mosul) wouldn’t have been a big problem if we had leaders
