Collaboration
Trainor tells that she will be teaming up with Legend in a song on her upcoming debut album.
I wrote the song like years ago and it wasn’t going to make my album but my Uncle Burton Toney, the man, my Trinidadian uncle [he is married to Meghan’s aunt] he met my managers and forced them to listen. ‘He said you need to hear this song, she didn’t show you this song, you need to hear it. And I thought because it wasn’t shoo-wop vibey I blanked out, and the girl, my manager, listened to it and started crying and she’s like ‘You know you’ve got to cut this, right?’
So then I cut it, I produced a version with my friend and they sent it to John because he’s on my management company and he’s like ‘I love this I want to be a part of it’…It’s gonna be cool.

Who Do We Think We Are
0 CommentsLegend releases the music video for Who Do We Think We Are, directed by Paul Gore. The song features Rick Ross and is off of Legend’s album Love In The Future.
The song has a few themes. The pre-chorus says, “I’m not afraid to fly” and “We’re not afraid to die.” Obviously that’s embracing the idea of risk-taking, not only in love but also in life. Not being afraid to pursue your dreams to the fullest. Not being afraid to live out your fantasies in life, and embrace some risks of falling. And so, that’s really what the song is about, and some of the lyrics kind of celebrate decadence and luxury, and enjoying your success, and obviously we played on those lyrics quite a bit and made what I think is a very beautiful and artistic video that’s also very sexy, and high-fashion and luxurious.
